Pictured on page 59 right top in the Silke Knaak Book ” Deutsche Modeouppen” is where you can see a copy of the original miniature newspaper.This is one is in poor condition.
Abot 30,000 of these were produced. It is made lovely and filled with stories about Lilli in German. Not every Lilli was accompanied by a newspaper, and they are almost impossible to get today! They were folded and put on to the clothes with a silver pin. They were made for the larger and smaller Lilli. This is the larger one. It has yellowed with age and has repairs and cracks. It needs restoring.
