Number 3 Blonde in Box – Vintage Barbie Doll – 1959
This is a really beautiful #3 Ponytail, with a complexion to die for! She is all original, no retouching (alcohol tested). The seller I originally purchased her from (a non-collector) had made a mistake of showing her with the bun, then when someone asked, they took it down to show the full ponytail. When I received her I tacked up the pony with a few threads back into the original bun hairstyle. Be assured, she has NOT had a haircut, this is the full ponytail tucked under. You could easily snip the threads and let down the ponytail if you wanted.
That said, her hair is soft and silky, shiny cornsilk blonde, and the bangs are full and beautiful. She has a sweet and lovely face, peachy complexion that is quite even everywhere. She has nice brows, lovely deep blue eyes with brown eyeliner and smoky shadow. Her lips are deep red and full, and she has a ton of factory blush! NO GREEN. No damage anywhere. Her Barbie TM body is beautiful, all tight limbs, nail polish all there and she has nipples. She comes in her original “R” box, “R” booklet, a “TM” stand, shoes, sunglasses and foot liner. MIB.
