#4 Blonde in a Pink Silhouette box – 1960
This doll has beautiful long and thick lemon hair with remnants of her original rubber band on the bottom and original on the top. All original makeup with large red original lips. She wears the complete and mint #983 Enchanted Evening. Her “R”stand is MINT as well as her “R” booklet. The attachment for the round stand is still in the box and attached. The original tissue paper that lined the box is still there and the booklet is in the original cello with the earrings. She comes with her large and RARE “R” Pink Silhouette Box. The box is in NM/M condition with hardly any age wear on the cover and ends. Box is also very sturdy and bright pink. The Pink Silhouette box was used to transfer dressed dolls to stores for display purposes only. Since this was not a sales item, some of the boxes were discarded. Many seasoned dealers and collectors state the prettiest dolls were hand picked for display purposes to enhance sales. To find dolls like this is extraordinarily rare especially when the outfit number is clear and at the end of the box. Doll is MINT and the box is almost mint. This is a rare treasure that is extremely difficult to find.
