Vintage Shoes

Barbie’s first shoes in 1959 through 1964 were open toe pumps, or some collector’s like to call them “mules”. In 1965-1968. Barbie wore closed toe pumps in various colors. It wasn’t long before she switched to various other styles through the end of the 60’s through the 70’s. Some of these were called, Pilgrims, soft buckle heels, soft pointed flats, and t-straps.

Francie had an abundance of shoes as well, and Skipper wore mostly flats or ankle boots.

These items went with the various fashions from Barbie and family.
